Bottome line on UAE deal: Bushbots should never have put the US
in this position. It could have been handled differently so that all parties would have been satisfied. The Arab/Muslim baiting has come back to haunt them. "And whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." We sow hate, fear, loathing, injustice, war. This is exactly the kind of people we are raising up in this nation and across the world. Remember, there was a time when America was honored and respected and was held up as a good example for the world. It is quite different now.

1. Somehow I think DP will stay connected to the deal
I think they will use a puppet company to run things and still make money. That kind of tactic is something bush has done during his days with Aloha Oil and Harken.

3. I don't think we are important as we think -- big bombs, but not
much else is admired in the world anymore.

2. I think there may be another bottom line
The whole thing was a sham. Cheney/Halliburton will end up with our ports.

Just like they'll end up partnering with the UAE to take over our National Forests as well...I posted this yesterday, but no one seemed to care. It just puts more dots to connect, if you ask me!

"The administration's shortsighted advisors have proposed outsourcing two-thirds of the U.S. Forest Service's 31,625 jobs to private companies.

Presumably, bidding would be open to companies and governments throughout the world, including those with plenty of cash, but notably short on hospitality toward U.S. policies.

The winning bidder likely would be free to hire and fire 21,350 full-time Forest Service workers, including firefighters, law enforcement officers and rangers, 1,000 biologists, 500 geologists, 2,000 scientists and researchers and 3,000 foresters. "
