Ahhh... I love the smell of Fascist Friday in the morning!
Moonie Timesman Donald Lambro and a cup of coffee - what a way to start the day!

Washington Journal rarely disappoints going into the weekend.

Believe it or not, he is still pitching Social Security reform.
:::chuckle:::

I hear they are in trouble, financially.

4. I'm wonder if that includes the Black Ops, etc?
Really makin me angry, when I see how much more we are spending, but less ships, for instance..

Disgusting that we spend 20 times more than everyone else in the world.

now that the ports deal is over, repubs can turn their attention to there real strengths; domestic policies. What are those, I wonder?

6. I Can't Wait For The Moonie Times To Be Exposed
I think it was Atrios who reported that there are a couple of tell-all books that will expose the connections between this bird drop retainer and Rev. Moon, Karl Rove and all the other seedy characters inside this evil regime. The article says the paper continues to hemorage money and only Lamb and his right wing co-hosts are ones that give this scandal sheet any "credibility".

Lambrose was a total tool...and got off pretty easy. He attempted to detach himself from the regime he enables and always seemed to agree with every caller. When the sorrid state of journalism of this era is written, this asshat's face should be used as a definition of what a "stenographer" is. I'm surprised his nose wasn't brown...but he sure had the talking points all set to go.

8. WH talking points
I would be interested in how they are kicking that dead dog since it was suggested to be the topic of Bush's speech when he comes near my home town this Tuesday.

They need to dump the social security money into the Bush bubble market, especially to weather the disasters of an upcoming ME war. They need to get the whipped GOP Congress back in line on something other than foreign policy so they will jump back on board with both feet(one in domestic policy the other in kneejerk war support) once Bush attacks Iran.

Bush can still exert a lot of bullying influence even if he is pure poison in the polls and is the only crooked means for a beleaguered dog to manage a media advantage and rigged vote counts. The bold dare toward shaky Congressmen with elastic spines is to make things so bad that only the Bush machine is their hope for "winning". Since they CAN'T shake off Bush they will have to plunge in deeper or retire(if they are ALLOWED to that is). If they retire the entire GOP retirement package may be lost and the revolving door closed against them. Plenty of stooges where they came from.

By now, none of the complicit media or party members CAN backtrack, whatever feeble noises they make. traditionally parties can turn against their lame duck but the party itself is so helplessly crippled they literally are at Bush's indolent mercy.

The social security renewed attack, like the abortion crusade are still moving in parallel with the upcoming Iran attack along with another "disappointing" off year election for bewildered Dems. Either that or they lose everything and go to jail in pretty large numbers. Even though separately each poison
pill is killing their electoral support, taken massively it kills the electorate and allows by pure shock EACH thing to simply happen- all of which abominations were individually unthinkable.

Well, unthinking has gotten us exactly here.

"if the armed services committee approves it, it is not pork."
