cnn headline news - re: helping bush get his mojo back
they were asking for advice on what bush should do and the cnn guy said

"some of you have been blunt... that he should resign" and then read a few other emails.

1. I have no interest
in helping Bush get his mojo back. God know how much more damage he could do if that happened.

A neutered Bush is much better for this country.

7. You can email your suggestions to
headlinenews@cnn.com

Now, I know that I can trust you all with that email address. I know none of you will send an email that says he should resign or anything, right? I know none of you will send an email saying that he should encourage the investigation into (fill in a scandal issue here) be allowed to go forward, right?

Don't anyone do that, m'k? ;)

10. what would it take?
Detonating a nuclear bomb in Manhatten at 2:00 in the afternoon on a work day might get him back some of his lost charisma.

Or it might get him the most spectacular public lynching since Mussolini back in WWII.

Hmmmm, a nuke in Crawford Texas would sure make him a dead martyr, which would certainly serve this country much much better that anything else he will do for the rest of his wretched evil life.

Two birds, one stone. Use a "nice french bomb"* so that the real estate could be converted to a Presidential Memorial or something? Instead of an eternal flame, maybe an eternal scale model A bomb exploding on the hour, kind of like Yellowstone geysers?

11. I think a terrorist attack would end him, not help him, as you said.
After Katrina, everyone would just see it as incompetence.

8. Well if he went back in time 5 years and did the exact opposite
of everything he's done, that might work.

9. Ever notice how that is ALWAYS how they frame Bush's unpopularity?
Edited on Fri Mar-10-06 11:47 AM by Marr
Not "how did he get this low" or "why is the nation angry at Bush?"

No, it's always, "how can he raise his approval rating?". "How can he bury the current scandal?"

It's always "how can we repackage this crap and sell it again?"

13. Yeah, a few weeks ago newsweek had a series of questions
regarding his performance & instead of saying 67% of the people disapprove of the way boosh has handled the Iraq war, they stated over 30% of the people approve of the way boosh is handling the Iraq war. WTF?????

Tweety's always asking this stupid question, as though some magic formula will make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
