A Promise Kept
We're at a point where we need to turn our society's anxiety and rage into a rallying cry that Democrats can bring hope and trust back to our elected officials. I think it ought to be called "A Promised Kept" and replace the lies of Contract with America.

Here's a summary of that promise.... tweak it to make it better.

Carl
Sheeler for US Senate

Democrats, not aristocrats.

1. The best slogan so far is "Democrats: No Slogans, Just Solutions"
Pretty much says it all!

Good luck, Carl!

5. Carl...your website is great!!
This is a statement that rings true for me as an African American and as a gay. I have always said we needed to take the discussion up one level and talk about all Americans not specific Americans...all Americans deserve the right to pursue the American dream!! All Americans deserve to be treated equally under the law!!

<snip>
If equality was a mandate and not a special interest target, we could focus on the needs of all Americans and not target a few.
<snip>

Good Luck with your campaign!!

11. I think the Preamble to the Constitution says it all....
Perhaps falling back on the Constitution is the key...The preamble describes what the union should be....

How does the opposition attack the Constitution without appearing to attack the very thing they say they stand for? Don't get me wrong I know they will attack it...

Who is the senator that has a copy of the constitution on his person at all times....?

<snip>
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
<snip>

Just a few thoughts!!
