I came across this site recently. I hope someday soon we all have insurance so this doesn't have to happen.
William Barnette is a lifelong resident of Northwest Florida. He was born in Pensacola Florida on April 17, 1942. After Losing his father at a young age he entered the Marine Corp where he served a tour of duty in Viet Nam.

William's lifelong dream was to become was to become a long distance truck driver. After training himself, he enjoyed a lifelong career in trucking from which he earned various awards and certificates for safe driving.
In November of 2005, William suffered a minor stroke. It was also discovered he had Coronary Atery Disease and had to have surgery. He had the Surgery and was in the process of returning to truck driving when he collapsed and was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and was diagnosed with AML Acute Myleiod Leukemia.
Presently, he is undergoing chemotherapy in hopes of achieving a remission. At the time he has no medical insurance. Although we have applied for benefits, as of yet we haven't received anything.
If anyone would like to donate for the family's expenses it would be appreciated. He would also enjoy cards, and flowers (artificial only due to his compromised immunity) and prayers.
