ABC is turning in to FOX lite
The economy is booming. More jobs than ever and we're all making lots of money.

Terrorists are stalking sporting events.

If the Dubai deal doesn't go through, it could hurt the economy and we'll lose jobs.

Gag.

2. Wages are not keeping up with inflation.
Healthcare costs are extremely high.
What kind of jobs were created?
Also, how many layoffs were there?

3. I'll gag with you, but I have not watched any network or cable
news since the media cheated Gore out of his legitimate election and turned our country into a new fascist regime. Do not support them and let their advertisers know you will never watch them again.

4. I knew it wasn't just me
They put a positive spin on the Texas parental-notification abortion laws. Made it sound like teens having more babies because of law is great!

I've pretty much stopped watching the news...it's hopeless.

5. They are all Fox lite. Anybody remember the runup to the war?
We were pleading with the media to be skeptical, to cover the protests, to question authority. Not a chance in hell. It continues now. The corporate media has won; we need to keep the Internet going. Can we do it? I don't know. Doubt it.

6. More jobs than ever but unemployment rate still went up
And we aren't counting all those National Guardsmen who were sent to Iraq leaving their jobs behind for others to move into.

Now that's what I call a solid economy. :sarcasm:

8. all the corporate media is crap.
how about some unbiased FACTS for a change. Stop the spin, opinion and outright lies and just report the truth.

9. Here we go again!
Thursday's headline: Monkeyman's ratings have never sunk as low as they are now.
Friday's exclusive story on ABC: The FBI and Department of Homeboy Security issue terrorist warnings.
Am I the only one to see a pattern here? Every time the chimp is in trouble, the feds cry "Wolf".
When do we get to see the rest of that Aesop fable play out?

11. Hi Ford!
Welcome to the party!:hi:

Actually, you remind me that a week or so back ABC discovered a new Al Qaida mastermind that no other news source had ever heard of.

12. Nice to be here
Thanks for the welcome.
Found another thread where other DUers made the same observation, so it's comforting to know that it's not just me.
I'm usually content to lurk in the shadows of this web, but I couldn't resist when I caught the story on Mauschwitz TV.
