Hillary's Resume..
Before you start calling me an asshole, don't bother. I already know..

So Hillary wants to be Prez. That's nice. I'm also looking for work. I'm an engineer with 20 years hands-on. I have a decent resume that nicely defines a 20 something year career in electronics.

I want an engineering job, Hillary wants to be president.

My current situation had me thinking about resumes. Assuming a resume was a part of the Presidential job selection process, what would Hillary's look like?

Something like this..

Former First Lady
NY Senator for a few short years who doesn't even come from New York.

Hillary is slowly shifting right, Russ Fiengold tells it like it is. What is this fascination and love affair with Hillary? Sorry, I don't get it.

1. Drifting right? More like crashing to the right...
I fought long and hard with various RWingnuts and Freepers when she was running here in NY.

Now, they agree with her more than I do.

Go figure.

6. I know it.
I'm 49. Somewhere along the way, I have lost my youthful innocence. Something about here gets peoples juices flowing, and I just don't understand what Hillary has done to earn the trust or support of anyone. She's a relative newcomer to the scene, lacking credentials and experience.

There are so many others more qualified, and if we really want to take back the White House, best we abandon youthful idealism and stiock to some realities.

A woman named Clinton does not have a chance. Take a look at recent Democratic Presidents, Good 'Ol boys you can have a beer with.

Hillary gets the nod and we're fucked, plain and simple. How about we give the nod to someone who speaks for us who actually has a chance to win?

I have cried over this. The repukes have self destructed, the country is ready for a change, and the best we can do is Hillary Clinton? What the fuck

2. Well... beats Bush's.
At least she was actually a lawyer, too.

(Hey, I'd prefer Feingold too. Just don't see the point in the Clinton bashing.)

5. i agree with you. i don't see the point in clinton bashing either.
we have primaries and each of us can vote our choice, but i don't see any point in bashing other dems unless they act like liebermann.:toast:

8. Not Clinton Bashing
OK, so I express concerns and that makes me a Clinton Basher? That's charming. Labelling people before you know them is bigotry.

12. I wasn't labelling you; I was labelling the act.
If I wanted to label you, I would have called you "Clinton BashER," or "Freeper," but I didn't, did I?

I think we should vote for who we think is best in the primaries, but spend our energy attacking Republicans. We know all the anti-Clinton arguments already, and I happen to agree with many of them, but am getting a little tired and suspicious of the constant haranguing.

14. Well, DU isn't know for accepting certain people.
If you're Southern, well, hell, you're a bigot.

If you're Southern and white and think the Confederate flag is a piece of cloth, well, you're just stupid.

Oh - and you're right about Hillary.

3. i for one, am not fascinated with hillary. i think she's very smart
and probably a good senator, but she would not be my choice for president. if she is the nominee, i'll support her.

9. so will I
If she gets the nod, I'll support her, too. I'm just hoping that after 8 years of a brutal dictatorship, when the country is ripe for change, that we find a candidate who actually has a chance of winning.

Anyone who thinks that Hillary can beat McCain is living in an idealistic dream world.

There are others more qualified than Hillary.

10. Bush is a national figure
Bush is a national figure. Most Senators are. Abramoff is a National figure, so is DeLay. If I say "Why Hillary" and you say "She's a national figure" that somehow seems a bit shallow.

Meanwhile, I love the pic.

11. The GOP leadership seems to want her to run...

...so it can stabilize its base. Let's not give the Republicans what they
want.

16. Oy. I Can See Why You Haven't Landed A Job Yet If That's The Way You
write resumes LOL

Did you write yours like you did hers? Does yours just say:

Work with electronics
Have many appliances at home

Honestly, aren't there more important things for us to be focusing on right now? Is there really a need for yet MORE of these divisive Hillary posts, when we still have a hell of a battle to fight in the fucking 06 elections? Seriously, can't you hold off on your DEM bashing until like, say, 07 or 08 or something?
