MARINE, IRAQI SOLDIER, THREE IRAQIS KILLED IN IED BLAST

Release Date: 3/10/2006

Release Number: 06-03-01CA

Description: CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A homicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near the city of Fallujah March 10.
Three members of an Iraqi family, one soldier from the Iraqi Army, and one U.S. Marine were killed by the blast.
“Today, Iraqi Security Forces were working alongside U.S. Marines to ensure the safety of the citizens of Fallujah. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the individuals who lost their lives,” said Marine Lt. Col. Bryan F. Salas, Multi National Force-West spokesman.
The name of the deceased U.S. Marine will be released by the Department of Defense after next-of-kin notification.

Their rhetoric is fucking pathetic. I am sure faux snooze will be using this in no time.

2. The HVBIED's
are more proof to "conservatives" that the insurgency is in its last throes. They have resorted to new and improved ways of killing our kids therefore they must be positioning themselves to throw in the towel.

3. I'm glad they put that 'homicide' in there to clarify things
It prevents the reader from getting the wrong impression and thinking this was caused by a non-homicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device. :eyes:

5. It is because they won't use "suicide" to refer to these "dead
enders" but need a way to differentiate between parked and driven car bombs.

6. I always get a kick out of "improvised"
Can you buy roadside bombs, or car bombs, at the corner store or market?
