Bill Maher tonight --whats the deal with Larry Miller...?
I wasn't aware that Larry Miller is a republican. He is isn't he? Seemed like it. Is this a recent development or has he always been this blind?

1. He writes for The Weekly Standard.
I still like him as an actor/comedian, though.

2. Hi Starbucks Anarchist--
How are you tonight/this morning? :hi: You're entitled to like his work as a comedian. He's a funny guy. ;)

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the Weekly Standard?

3. It's a conservative magazine.
Actually, it's totally subsidized by Rupert Murdoch, who owns it through NewsCorp.

It's the breeding ground for PNACers like William Kristol (editor-in-chief), etc.

4. Ok. No wonder I hadn't heard of it. LOL!

On edit, and I say that because I kind of go out of my way to NOT know anything about conservative media sources. It's a shame--not only does he drink the Kool Aid, he writes about it. Bummer, as I liked and enjoyed some of his old stand-up shows...

How's Starbucks treating you these days?:)

5. Haven't been there in awhile.
I usually go there to work on scripts, but I always end up getting distracted. :)

But as far as right-wing media goes, it's amazing how everything's connected. Murdoch, through NewsCorp., owns Fox News, Weekly Standard, Fox TV, even TV Guide, among many other companies.
