I pray that hillary does NOT run...
that would be the only thing that would get the republicans out in the polls that day..
all the ones who are so pissed about everything.. rather than vote for a democrat they would just stay home...
UNLESS Hillary ran
if she does then they would go and vote for the devil himself rather than vote for her ..
so i PRAY (and I'm not religious ) that she doesn't run..
notice how its only republicans talking about how she is planning on running anyway?

1. I agree.
The Dems will have enough problems getting control without also trying to get the first woman into the White House Prez's chair.

The fireworks would be something to watch, though. You think Kerry had a tough time....whoa.

2. It's not just repugs. I'm looking forward to her running.
She'll be the next president, IMO.

4. I agree with you about Hillary
However my experience with our Party leads me to believe that not only will Hillary Run for the Nomination, she will be declared the only "Electable" candidate before 2008 or any of the Primaries.

I'm really sick of this incestuous bullshit.

6. excellent observation
it seems to only be the MSM and the RNC that talks about her

there is no question she is a unifying force for the repukes and a dividing force for the Democrats

The reality is she is collecting more money than she ever need for the Senate campaign, and the odds are she will use that extra money for 2008.

I hope Feingold/Wes Clark are the ticket

8. oh, you know it's not just republicans who support her potential run
Edited on Sat Mar-11-06 10:43 AM by bigtree
"Former President Clinton said Sunday in Tokyo that his wife, Hillary, would be an excellent choice as the first female leader of the world's most powerful nation."

Separately on Sunday, Sen. Joseph Biden said Senator Clinton would be incredibly difficult to beat if she decides to run for president.

He added, “She is likely to be the nominee. She’d be the toughest person and I think Hillary Clinton is able to be elected president of the United States.”

other Dem's and of course they have to answer it...
but they don't come up with it on their own... and its been said so many times by repugs that people forgot who started it..

15. Nice of you to try to dilute the strong endorsements of these two
major figures in our party. It won't fly. How can you claim that there is no Democratic support for her run, only republican trickery. The republicans may want to plot and manipulate, but that shouldn't detract from our party member's, and Sen. Clinton's own inituitive. I think you'll find (perhaps not appreciate), more than enough party support for the senator and desire for her candidacy as the election draws closer. Whether that support will eclipse other candidates remains to be seen. But, to suggest that a major figure and fighter for our Democratic party like Sen. Clinton can only find support for a presidential run in the republican camp is ridiculous.

13. Sorry...I apologize
I'm getting a bit fatigued with all the Hillary stuff!!! As much as I want her to runa and win, I would rather look to 2006.

I just feel the need to defend her and her potential candidacy, and I have been doing it so much I am getting a bit testy!!

14. There's a manager at a local grocery store who befriended
me when he saw my Clark buttons during the 2004 primary. He loved Clark. Hates the Republicans. Voted for Kerry in the general.

However, he told me last week that if Hillary was the nominee, he'd have to vote Republican or Independent because he hates that "man-hating bitch." He said he would vote for other women, but not her.

Now, I told him that she wasn't, of course, that he'd been exposed to too much right-wing propaganda, but that I agreed that she wouldn't win, simply because of attitudes like his (he didn't change his mind about Hillary, btw).

It's the sad and simple truth and I don't even think some of it is based in misogyny. I think Hillary just rubs a lot of people - male and female - the wrong way, for whatever reason.
