The abortion issue might ensure more non-white infants, but large populations diffuse wealth. Whites will get the abortions they want, while non-whites will be penalized by having to support larger families and criminalized if they seek abortions. Good recipe for growing the permanent underclass.

It's not really about race (though the racist appeal is obvious) but it is about class.

Wouldn't be surprised if figures are similar elsewhere. How does that fit your theory? So far I've heard nobody say that abortions will remain legal for blacks. Although of course, I wouldn't be totally surprised if that's what some repubs actually wanted.
