1. Thanks for the grins!
I'm taking a break and watching Jason & the Argonauts on TCM. So I missed it.

4. No offense taken
I was just thinking how women were allowed to have more hips back in those days. I was watching an old Marx Bros movie last night. And the hotsy totsy, good looking woman had hips as big as Margaret Dumont's! She was just younger and had a small waist.

My apologies for hijacking this thread!

i was just at the 'barber's' and they had a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. I remarked to him that the women all looked the same, were way too thin, and unreal. I agree...give me the look popular prior to the Vogue-i-fication of the modeling industry.

Also in all fairness to your gender, the men are way too pretty these days. We don't have many men's men stars anymore.

ON EDIT: PS Honor Blackman of Goldfinger fame, plays Hera in the movie!!

10. Dang it! I don't get TCM. I love big hips!
I always thought that real women have curves. Raquel Welch and Sophia Loren STILL look fine!

15. Harryhausen was a genius.
Some of his effects were better than early CGI. A master!
