America: From Freedom To Fascism aired today in Ashland, OR

Went to see a 4-hour presentation today by Robert Schultz. He ran a video that was largely an edited copy of a CSPAN press conference they held last year in which they have sued the Feds for redress of grievances.

They are seeking to enforce a clause of the Constitution that allows the public to withold taxes if the goverment fails to honor our right to petition them.

After that they aired "America: From Freedom To Fascism", a new film scheduled for general distribution this summer. http://www.freedomtofascism.com/ Produced by Aaron Russo (award-winning producer of such film hits as "The Rose," "Trading Places" and "Teachers"), this is a hard hitting film that frames the ramifications of what we are watching happen to our Constitution.

Michael Rupert, who recently relocated from Los Angeles to Southern Oregon (where, according to him, he will ride out Peak Oil) was on hand. He gave a very brief presentation, and was selling books/videos in the back. Rupert appears in Freedom To Fascism along with many other well-recognized names.

I encourage everyone to see this film, and support their efforts to distribute it. Needless to say, no major distributor has expressed a willingness to carry the film, and they are seeking alternate approaches to distribution.
