An Open Letter to the Sheep

Dear American Sheep:

I feel that it is high time that we Democrats/Progressives apologize for taking your name in vain.
You sheep have had your inborn, natural tendency to group together and be led by either a shepherd, or a dog, used to refer disparagingly to mindless, ignorant humans who blindly follow any Neoconservative idiot the GOPinators sees fit to prop up.

And, well, that's not fair.

American Sheep, you have shared with us your warm wool, your soothing lanolin and your offspring for our dinner plates. In return we have sullied your good name.

So, in the name of Democrats and Progressives - We apologize.
(Don't expect us to stop doing it though. Sorry...)
