However, he is a regular guy with integrity, courage and conviction and I think the voters are ready for new type of leader like Feingold.

Dean can be abrasive at times. I still love the guy, but he is a doctor. Feingold is a politician and is much more polished than Dean is.

Alot of people are convinced that Terry McAuliff helped bring Dean down. Now Howard Dean is the DNC chairman. Would he be in a position to run interference for Feingold or Gore or some other progressive if conservatives in the party try to knock them out?

Of course the establishment Dems may succeed in dumping Dean by that time so the point may be moot.

the week before last, when he stood on the Senate floor by himself reading the resolutions regarding Homeland Security, written by various states around the country. He wanted to get those resolutions on the record.

I called his office in DC, offering my support and respect, then called my own two Senator's offices letting them know how I felt.

Besides being intelligent and articulate, he exudes a wonderful warmth - and, I also have to say - Russ is adorably handsome.

I had loads of yard work today so I had to tape the show... I think I will go and watch it now...

I saw Fiengold earlier this year on a Sunday talk show and I liked what he said. So far he has my vote in 2008...it is early... but he sure seems to have what we need right now.
