Now this is just wrong

Some of you may remember a guy in the suburban area where I live had an anti war sign in his yard and the city came after him since signs in yards are prohibited here. The ACLU defended him and the city dropped its case against him.

Well lo and behold, lookie what I see as I am just now driving down the street in that very city where this guy lives:



The focus is off on this one but it's a bit closer shot:


It is a bunch of pink flamingos with a SIGN that says 'You've Been Flocked' and there is a phone number for a Girl Scout troop at the bottom of the sign.

Now I have nothing against the Girl Scouts - I was one myself. But NO SIGNS should mean NO SIGNS!!

Besides, this is just trashy looking. I support the no signs ordinance because that is part of the charm of living here - and I really don't want a bunch of Ws in yards in my hood.

This is a company that specializes in practical jokes and I am sure it won't stay! They do birthday greetings and the like.
