And that is why he did so poorly in yesterday's "straw vote". They don't trust him. They know that he's been sucking up to Bush so he can claim to be the inheritor to the throne. But now, it looks like McCain may have put his money on the wrong horse. Bush is starting to look like an old sway back mule and nothing anyone would bet on. McCain may be the darling of media people like Tweety Matthews or Don Anus, but the right-wingers have no plans on supporting him.
