Is it me or does this guy live on another planet? I didnt understand a word he wrote.

When I got to "Although I was present throughout my childhood ...", had I a mouthful of liquid I would have sprayed my monitor.

It's written to self-parody (and other-parody) to an incredible extent, with all manner of allusions (primary and seconday). The style does not appeal to all readers in equal measure.

One wonders how Rand figures in later chapters.
