Mar. 13 - The promise of a free strip-o-gram sounded good to retired salesman John Skinner.
But police charge stripper Maureen Murphy and accomplice Richard Adam forced their way into Skinner's Southern California home and robbed him.

Skinner claimed he was on his way to Bible class when Murphy knocked on his door and said a friend had already paid for his show.

Prosecutors charge Murphy and Adam beat up Skinner and robbed him.

According to police, the pair claimed Skinner owed a second woman money for sex. A preliminary hearing will be held March 23rd.

Does he really think anyone will buy the "Bible Class" story? Is that supposed to make him sound less sleazy? "Yes, I wanted a strip-o-gram ... but I got it on my way to Bible class, so I'm not a bad person!" You gotta love the twisted sense of morality! It's OK to get a strip-o-gram just as long as you get it on your way to Bible class - but the guy who gets it while sitting at home, watching the game and drinking a beer, well ... HE is the real sinner! :rofl:

3. I would have done the same thing

Bible class / stripper: bible class / stripper. Pick the stripper every time, especially if you have a bunch of singles sitting there.

It's a brilliant way to rob someone, how many good red state single guys would ever say no to a stripper?

I don't have a problem with the guy saying yes to a stripper, but I find it amusing that he felt the need to tell people he was on his way to Bible class. He probably said it to make himself sound better, but didn't realize that it could actually make him sound worse. After all, he chose a stripper over God. ;-)

I'm not moralizing - I don't care one way or the other - it just made me laugh! :D

By the way ... you're right. It is a brilliant strategy for robbery.
