First Murtha, now Feingold...

First Murtha makes a devastating attack on the idiotic Iraq war. Then the rest of the Democrats run for cover. When asked about his proposal most said "Murtha who?".

Now, Feingold says let's do the right thing and censure Busholini. Where are the other Democrats? So far, they've pulled a total disappearing act. This should be a no brainer for any Democrat. They should be screaming from the roof of the capitol about the rule of law, the fourth amendment, and executive crimes.

Yes they were on to something. On most issues Feingold has been willing to risk political disaster in order to take a stand against Bush. On the Patroit Act, Iraq War and other issues Feingold has been willing to stand for the opinion said to be unpopular when he thought it was right. I think he should have run as Vice President in 2000. He should have run as Vice President or President in 2004. Now he should run for President in 2008.

2. We won't if we leave it totally up to them.

We have to call/write/email our Dem Senators and Representatives and keep after them, let them know we are paying attention to them, watching what they do, and we will not continue to support them if the don't learn to stand up. I think especially right now, with this being an election year and so many of them are up for re-election, they might start paying attention to us. So we play a big part in what they do. Perhaps if they each feel a few thousand boots in their butts, they just might find their spines.

First Feingold voted against the Patriot Act.
Then Feingold called for a definite withdrawal date.
Then Murtha did.
Then Feingold called for censure.

Feingold's out in front most of the time.
