1. Was it funny?
I saw the ads for it. It looked amusing.

2. Not really, but my daughter wants to watch it.
Maybe it will grow on me.

5. At the risk of sounding like a total guy...

It's a total chick show. Even the ads are all for womens fasion (Jacque Claude Penny) and tampons. It's about a divorced woman coping with single mom-hood, while remaining friends with her ex, who has already moved on and found another chippy, who happens to share her name (get it? "Old Christine?").

This is about as formulaic as they comes. The only positive thing to be said about it is that if it survives, the marketing people at CBS will force the producers to change the name of the show to just plain "Christine" next season. It will probably still suck, but it won't take so long to ask people if they think it sucks.

6. Oh, and another thing I just noticed...
How come on every single teevee show where the couple is still married, the man is 320 lbs and an oaf, while the wife looks like she just stepped off the last train from Milfville? Now, here's a show with a relationship between divorcees, and the man is actually fairly decent looking. At least, not Jim Belushi or something. Just makin' and observation. Carry on.

8. I actually agree with you on all counts.
I'm hoping it can break out of the formula and I'll watch almost anything after 2 1/2 men

7. Sometimes, with a new comedy,
you get the feeling they have shot their wad, told all their
jokes in the first show. I didn't get that impression.

9. She's very good at physical comedy, maybe that will
help to carry the show.

I like comedies without laugh tracks. The Office and Mothers and Daughters are the only two I know of on the broadcast channels.

I didn't get to see the show. I got outvoted.
