How *co admin can save tax dollars on the current tour.
Instead of going on this tour to tout his various policies and having the taxpayer bear the cost, use a seldom-viewed cable tv outlet.

No one, other than the small % of the people who still approve, is going to watch anyway.

It will spare the time involved in screening an audience of *bots for the meeting.

No fuel required for planes, vehicles. No hotel accommodations for secret service and assorted minions.

One handy place for late night TV hosts to find excerpts with which to poke fun.

Using a seldom-viewed cable outlet doesn't mess with the mainstream television viewing.

1. Are you saying that Bush should keep his Bush at home?

I agree, save the injured and hurting American taxpayers some money - keep the Bush at home!

3. Yes, I am. Even my spouse, who for ages had a photo of
* and Laura - sent to her during the campaign seeking a contribution - hanging on her computer cabinet is tired of him. Photo has long since been removed. She has come to see the light, belatedly (same as me, but it took her longer.) Last week, my sister asked me if I knew my wife had become a (and she lowered her voice) 'democrat.'

White House Debuts Iraq War Infomercial

WASHINGTON, DC—In an attempt to gain support among idle and sleepless Americans, the Bush Administration made its case for the continuing war in Iraq in a one-hour paid program that premiered early Tuesday morning.

The infomercial, cohosted by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and former Dynasty star Linda Evans, was shot in a Burbank, CA studio before an audience of approximately 60 tourists and college-age Republicans.

Produced by the White House Communications Office in collaboration with Excelsior Direct Marketing International, the infomercial was characterized by White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan as "an effort by the administration to show the public that the occupation of Iraq is an unbelievable success, and if they don't understand that, they are missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

The paid program, called Amazing Policies, opened with a splashy title sequence, then cut to the audience greeting Rumsfeld and Evans with applause.
