LOL! My 3-year old says "okay, I'll be Cheney..."
Good for a chuckle: My two sons(aged 9 & 3)are playing 'lightsabres' on the stairs.
9-year-old says "your turn to be the bad guy", and 3-year-old says "okay, I'll be Cheney"...
Does my heart good.

13. We live in an extremely red pocket of Chandler, a suburb of Phoenix..
We found out (the hard way) early on in the school year that my 9-year-old and his teacher were the only Dems in his classroom.
He'll debate ANYBODY regarding Bush, and although I've cautioned him often with the old 'religion and politics' adage, he persists.
His teacher has told me that he just doesn't give a rat's arse about peer pressure, which pleases me; but I've been trying to temper my um, displeasure, with the current Administration all the same.
Sometimes I'm successful, sometimes not..lol.

16. My kindergartner walked in on his teacher putting up
Thanksgiving decorations.

"Is that the invaders' ship?"

"Yes. But don't tell the children."

7. During the 2004 campaign my kids were playing "debates"
My son was crying because his sister told him he had to be George W. Bush. When I confronted her and instructed they'd have to take turns being Sen. Kerry, she said, "But, Mom! He has to be Bush because he's little and doesn't talk too good."

Can't argue with that kind of logic... :)

9. GREAT story. Send it to a talk show, maybe Randi Rhodes, or
Mike Malloy, or send it to CNN's Cafferty (Cafferty Files).

12. Nice contrast
to the thread about the kid who taped his teacher at his republican father's request! Maybe the future won't be so bleak after all!

14. that's good
When my son was in Kindergarten, he had a classmate over. I overheard them talking.
It went like this:

My son "Do you like Bush?"
friend "I don't know"
My son "My mom Doesn't"
friend "Why?, because he's a liar?"
