college professors, the same way this little brownshirt was encouraged by his father ~ but as I recall, when the filthy little Nazi scheme 'let's-get-college-professors' was exposed and it was revealed that another snitch, not content only with destroying lives, but willing to pay and be paid for it, the coward, Horowitz tried to distance himself from his role in it, after he saw the horrified reaction of decent people everywhere.
This cowardly little snitch ought to read this account told by a woman who was a child during the reign of the Nazis in Germany ~ I imagine she would have someone like him to thank for what happened to her back then ~
We will soon hear of six-year-olds reporting on their classmates lack of loyalty to the 'leader' if something isn't done to instill some kind of standards of behavior beforethis country ends up going down the same path as Germany in the '30s. There have been enough warning signs now that ought to alarm decent people enough to at least warn their children about the Horowitzs of the world before it's too late.
'Enabling' the Patriot Actby Doris Colmes
At the end of the school year of June, 1938, my parents received a polite, but firm letter from Dr. Gregor Ziemer, headmaster of "The American School of Berlin," stating that Jewish children were no longer permitted to attend. It was the only school I’d ever known, from kindergarten up through fifth grade, and I loved it. My older sisters liked it, too, because – amongst other things – there were a lot of cute American boys in attendance and everybody spoke English. It wasn’t just American School, though: Jewish kids were no longer allowed into any schools whatsoever.
This rejection was based on an edict formulated by the German "Enabling Act" of 1933, which gave the Nazi government incalculable powers over individuals, groups, and targeted population components. As a matter of fact, the German "Enabling Act" of 1933 is remarkably similar to our current Patriot Act, which – according to an Associated Press release to the Portland Oregonian of June 4, 2005 – is currently up for revisions not only giving it expanded powers well beyond those it already has, but making it permanent, just like the German Enabling Act was made permanent. (The more one compares the Nazi Germany "Enabling Act" with the U.S.A. "Patriot Act," the more they appear to be Siamese twins.)

It starts with little incidents like this kid running with his tape to the propaganda machine, or the other one, paying 'young republicans' to spy on college professors ~ their zeal fueled by hate radio, turning them into vile, hatefilled potential Nazis.
The good thing is that so far, they have been met with only disgust by most people ~ even Republicans I know found this to be thoroughly reprehensible and in the end, it may do more to cause them to distance themselves from what is looking more and more like a party no decent human being would want to admit to being associated with.
Someone said 'there were no Nazis in Germany after the war'. I have a feeling that in ten years it will be hard to find anyone who remembers supporting this regime either.
As for the snitch in this case, he couldn't even stand up for his convictions (whatever they were) as expected from someone like him, he didn't have the guts to back to the school and defend his behavior. But we're supposed to believe he'll join the military sometime in the future?
I think the miliatary is safe from his kind ~ as they were from his idols, Cheney et al.
