C-SPAN: Some really nervous oil CEO’s
testifying before a senate committee right now.

Oil prices go down with mega mergers, the oil companies reinvest in alternatives with their profits and if the US would allow more give-aways on public lands are the highlights so far.

These dudes must not be sworn to tell the truth again.

14. no...Iran is going to start trading oil in euros on March 20...
UAE is going to change 10% of their foreign reserves from dollars to euros.

coincidentally (or not), shortly after Iran starts trading oil in euros, the u.s. fed is going to stop reporting M3 (the largest measure of u.s. currency).

2. Gas was $2.27 when I passed on my way to church
this past Sunday. An hour and a half later, after the service and coffee, the price had risen to $2.31.

I'd like to interrogate these scum myself for an hour or two.

7. No way,
these guys are lying through their teeth.

CSPAM cut to a rerun of another show just after they sat down and didn't come back until that issue would have been resolved. Convenient for all concerned.

13. It may be out there, but it wasn't on CSPAN
It is impossible that these guys are so blatantly fabricating if they were under oath. We'd be hearing more non answers.

12. Grassley: Bottled water a worse value
Edited on Tue Mar-14-06 01:44 PM by Changenow
why aren't people complaining about that? They complain about the costs of energy but not the cost of bottled water?

"I'm not here for a love fest, but you guys are doing the best you can and not holding back supply, aren't you?"

Exxon: Lots of people with pensions count on us to make prudent investments and profits. If we could invest in more in the good old USA things would be much better.

15. You can always boil city water so people who purchase bottled water
buy it for convenience. If it was the only source of water, THEN you'd have the same problems we have with oil.
