When pretty, young women -- especially white ones -- are killed or disappear, media storms often follow. There is no polite way to say it, and it is a fact of television news. Media and social critics call the wall-to-wall coverage that seems to swirl around these events, "Missing White Woman Syndrome."




Here is a tidbit from a MSM member on the coverage of Missing White Woman in the news

1. This morning they kinda did something on it but they didn't even

touch the white thing. They said that NY was so captavated by the one young woman killed @ the nightclub and they wanted to know why. They did bring up the fact that 2 Chinese women were killed in a warehouse and no one has talked about them. It was a bullshit story. I can't wait to see what AC360 says about it.

the way st guillen was killed was so horrible that it left many long-in-the-tooth detectives speechless. it had all the earmarks of a serial killing. this wasn't some white woman missing somewhere, this was a brutal rape, torture and murder.

And I am glad they have found the killer.

But black women also get killed in horrible ways. We just don't hear about these killings.
