Drink the Kool Aid much? Warning spew alert. Freeper think.

Bush doesn't seem to understand that the left in this country have an obsessive goal -- to destroy the concept of individual rights and impose a Socialist dictatorship. The left worships at the alter of the State. The Almighty God means nothing to them. Their god is the State. Damn the left and all who support them. Bush is waging a noble and effective war on the enemy without. Maybe he believes the time is not right to wage war on the left in this country. Or, maybe he just doesn't quite know how to go about destroying the evil left's grasp. Maybe it can't be done peacefully. There is no doubt Socialism is winning at all levels. It is killing the future this once great Republic and it seems there is nothing we can do. Heck, I fear more than half this country can easily be made to feel comfortable with rabid Socialism. Sad indeed. The fact that the ultra left NPR is funded by my tax dollars makes me sick. The simple fact that the NPR is still funded shows without a doubt that Liberty is in danger in this country and the wimpy, sissy, girlie Reps in Congress deserve nothing but contempt. To compare anyone in Congress to our Founders is laughable. FreeRepublic is one of the few bastions where the love of Liberty and respect for Individual rights thrives.

I don't know if this great thinker is aware that our Founding Fathers were the LIBERALS.
It was the conservatives who were loyal to the King.

1. Someone tell this bozo that "Socialist Dictatorship" is an oxymoron.
Beyond that, I know of nobody, personally, who wants to destroy the concept of individual rights and impose any kind of dictatorship.

but maybe I'm weird that way.

14. "communist dictatorship" should have been an oximoron, too...
Socialism is like communism's sane cousin.

and how can they possibly think that we want to destroy individual rights? individual rights is the POINT of the opposition! *sigh*

5. The Freepers usually do get things backwards.
But once they're on a roll
watch out- logic and reason are no
match for the Freeper-ram-it-down-your-throat train
of thought.

6. They don't even realize when they've shown their ignorance.
I guess it doesn't matter because no one else over there realizes it either.

7. Bet he's the first one to say he doesn't care if Bushie listens to his
phone calls, reads his email, and reviews his credit card receipts. Guess he cares so much about individual rights that he cheers when a protester is arrested and claps when he sees a 'free speech zone'. Yep, it's the left that is taking away freedoms and not the fascist-in-residence that demands the Patriot Act and wire-tapping without warrants.

9. One true thing
"the wimpy, sissy, girlie Reps in Congress deserve nothing but contempt."

And here's the punchline:

"FreeRepublic is one of the few bastions where the love of Liberty and respect for Individual rights thrives."

Leader: "You're all different"

Masses (together): "Yes, we're all different."

Leader: "You're all individuals."

Masses (in perfect unison): "Yes, we're all individuals."

(Paraphrased from Monty Python's Life of Brian.)

11. Just what individual rights does this person think bu$h is fighting for
anyway? bu$h spies on our own citizens, tortures, can "disappear" anyone he desires...so just what liberty does this guy love? I'm baffled.

13. ???
If he re-read his diatribe, he'd realize "the left" haven't had any power in five years, and that everything he blames us for has been done by the people he voted for. In their parallel universe, they can hold two conflicting opinions at the same time, and 2+2 really does equal 5.

16. Hm. Let's see...
Secret Prisons. Authorized torture. Suspension of Habeas (sp?) corpus. Unwarranted spying on U.S. Citizens. Sham trials with coached witnesses.

All brought to you by the Bush administration. Oh, but it's the Left that wants to abolish individual rights. This would be hilarious if it were not so scary...
