Look at the formatting and layout of the Democratic Underground website. Sharp graphics, great formatting, style sheets, amazing features like the new journals. Very sophisticated professional.

Now, look at the formatting and layout of the Free Republic, home of the freeper. No graphics, poor formatting, lousy styling, no features. Very amateurish; there are high school drop-outs who can do better.

Why is that? Come on, post your favorite theories! Is it a lack of education? Near-the-surface Ludditism? Post and tell us what you think!
