I've dissed Lou many times...but OMG he has his Libertarin "finger on the button" on THIS ISSUE!

He also mentions that Repugs are trying to do "back door" approval of Dubai taking over our ports.

His charts are great.......he's become the Libertarian Intellectual for "LA RESISTANCE!"

I'm NOT a LIBERTARIAN....but you've gotta take the good with the bad to make CHANGE. I'm way Progressive...but have some social issues that would make me seem "mainstream DEM/DLC...but I hate the DLC...

So all you "Hybrid Dems" really need to give up that ASS TWEETY (I know, we cable subscribers just have to peek at his "codpiece ravings") but DOBBS really is reporting enough stuff to keep us Dems energized whether we agree or disagree with his Libertarian stuff.

I always thought the Libertarians would be our Dem allies in bringing down the Bushies...It just took so much LONGER than I thought it would.

I'll take "allies" as a Dem even if they "smell like skunks" and want a "price" for their turn against Bush...any day over DLC COP OUTS!

4. We've got to be very....very careful...though with the Libertarians.......

It's good to get them mad as hornet's nest invaded...BUT they have very different thoughts about Government and the Constitution...that this PROGRESSIVE DEM does..

but, I'm glad for the help. :D We NEED IT...and we can "iron out the differences" later.....

8. Agree! I sort of differ with him on "Illegal Immigration" because just

today I had "gutters cleaned" and new airconditioning unit replaced (16 years old) by Hispanic Americans who couldn't speak any English (it made me mad) but I realized that our area here in NC was in such HUGH GROWTH that no matter how many native NC'linians we tried to hire...we need our "IMMIGRANTS" who don't speak good English...and maybe don't have Southern manners to deal with my needs...but it's a NEW WORLD OUT THERE!

Aren't our Hispanics being treated with the same predjudice as our Italian, Irish, German and other immigrants have been throughout American History?

Although...the EARLY IMMIGRANTS were NOT ILLEGAL...and NOT EXPECTING HEALTH CARE, ETC? :shrug:

It's a hard question...but folks always come to countries to do jobs that others "won't do." Jobs that seem dirty are unseemly to those who've already "made it."

I needed "services today." I wish I could have hired AMERICANS but...what showed up at my door after dealing with American Businesspeople...were "Illegal Immigrants" who couldn't speak English...but installed my air conditioner and cleaned my gutters of leaves.
How do we deal fairly???? I don't know...
