In the Moussaoui case, who appointed the judge?
The more I hear about how well she is standing up to the prosecution, the more I worry that the right will label her an anti-American activist judge who happens to be a friend of Moussaoui and OBL. So I was wondering if anyone know who she was appointed by?

Thanks

1. It's free!
http://www.google.com

"In 1993 Judge Brinkema was nominated by President Bill Clinton for promotion to the bench of the Eastern District of Virginia, and took up her post on October 23, 1993."

3. He won't get off. He's already confessed
They've just got to see the kind of sentence it's going to be; or, at least, that was my impression from an article I read today.

5. I meant off the death penalty. Here's the latest...
LEXANDRIA, Va. – The judge in the Zacarias Moussaoui sentencing case decided today to allow the government to continue to seek the death penalty against the confessed al-Qaida conspirator – but without key prosecution testimony..

7. that's what i'm worried about...
good thing it isn't something "important" to the r-wingers like gay marriage. Otherwise they'd be all over this.
