I have never seen this before. A freind sent it to me who hates Rush more than I. I've noticed Rush can not confront ANYONE unless he has total control. This is why Rush won't go on Letterman, Leno, or any other talk show where he may not be in total control. He can't speak unless he has a script. This woman totally catches Rush off guard & he literally does not know what to do or say. He has that deer in the headlights look on his face.I'm sure some have seen this & its nothing new. But if you haven't its well worth watching! Curious to hear what everyone thinks.

And your intro post was spot-on. You didn't just "notice" that Rush cannot confront anyone, it is simply fact. A late-90's Time Magazine profile of Rush documented how Rush and producers decided that no live, face-to-face would ever happen on Rush's show, "because he isn't a good debater." Of course he isn't. He lies like a rug, and when he called on it, he gets his ass kicked every time. So, instead of just stopping the lying, he decided to just stop the live interviews.

Nowadays, on his radio program (I haven't listened to Rush in well over a year, and even then it was only in short snippets during election times) you may notice his callers usually only make one statement or comment, and then it is all Rush -- that is because Rush silences the calls as soon as the caller has completed his sentence, so Rush won't get interupted or challenged on his lies. The man is despicable, the worst kind of "personality." When he actually gets caught lying, he always resorts to "but this is just entertainment, not news!" as if that excuses it.
