Rumsfeld and Pace Say Iraq Mission Is Succeeding
US vows no permanent bases in Iraq
Abizaid says U.S. may want to keep bases in Iraq

Unbelieveable. How can these sorts of headlines appear so close to each other (at least in LBN) in a sane world? The Bush admin and the compliant media aren't even really TRYING any more - they know there is nothing we can, or should I say will, do about it.
