Earlier I posted about the DSCC.
Know your DSCCNow here is the DCCC, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Here is the description of what this committee does.
http://www.dccc.org/about/overview/Overview/Mission
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) serves as the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with recruiting, assisting, funding, and electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. We provide services ranging from designing and helping execute field operations, to polling, creating radio and television commercials, fundraising, communications, and management consulting.
The DCCC is now chaired by Congressman Rahm Emanuel from the 5th district of Illinois in Chicago. In the 1980s, Mr. Emanuel held senior staff positions at the DCCC, and helped the Democrats win and maintain their House majorities. He played a major role in the election of Bill Clinton as his Director of Finance in the 1992 Presidential campaign. Mr. Emanuel then served as a top White House advisor to President Clinton from 1993 to 1998.
