The only way that I see a healing of this country is to remove religion from all politics across the land. Religion has destroyed many civilizations and it is currently trying to destroy America....

The Religious fanatics that are a minority have managed to gain control of our goverment...and they are on a drug addled high on power and control of America. They are in an outright attack on Gays, Womens Rights, Civil Rights, Freedom of Speech, Liberal, Freedom to worship any religion....

They are not going to give up without cheating, getting more US citizens and soldiers killed and whatever it takes to keep their contol....One only has to look how Delay is mocked the law....

I don't think people like us on DU and around the country are going to let that happen....

The country rebounded pretty quickly from Nixon. Who would have thought 5 years was enough time to basically ruin everything Clinton did? If the next president makes it a priority to respect congress and the constitution and is open with the public then the Bush years will fade quickly. Now can we repair the dmamge done to the environment? Can we rebuild our image in the middle east? Can we get back on track in the field of science? I think that damage may take much longer to repair.

15. An article in todays paper states that the carbon dioxide levels in the

atmosphere has reached record levels in '04. I believe rebuilding our image around the world will dictate that we send these war criminals to the Hague first thing. But thats just me.

14. The only way to initiate a quick fix

Would be to prove beyond the shadow of doubt that Bush stole the elections in 2000 and 2004, and that because he wasn't the duly elected President, his SCOTUS nominees (Roberts and Alito) aren't eligible to sit on the bench, and many of his other laws are also null and void due to the fact he didn't truly have the power of the office to perform his duties.

This would take a group of people with strong morals and ethics, and a strong backbone as well, to stand up to the criminals who will object, due to their dirty deeds being uncovered by this investigation.

If Bush isn't really the President, why would any of his actions stand?
