"Give war a chance."
I saw that last night as my wife and I were getting gas. It was on a Jeep loaded with NRA stickers, Army sergeant decals, deer track stickers, and pro-Bush propaganda. The guy filling up his gas hog looked to be in his early 30s and perhaps in the military. I was sooo ready to confront him, but my wife begged and pleaded for me not to. "Besides," she said, "You have laryngitis."
Oh, yeah. I forgot.
But so help me, if I ever see this guy around Pittsburgh again after my voice returns, I will confront him. I feel utterly compelled to destroy his point of view.
Dick. We gave war a chance, and more than 2300 of our troops are dead because of it. Even if this putz served in a uniform, I just know he never saw blood and gore on a battlefield. No self-respecting veteran would ever display "Give war a chance" on his or her vehicle after they saw the elephant. No effin' way.
