Monday AM his DC staff said he hadn't released a statement yet, but was interested in caller input.
As of Tues 3/14 NM news reporters' conference he's not supportive of a censure resolution without an investigation
first to see if there was any legal justification (as asserted by this president's legal counsel), if this president had illegal intent, etc.,blah,etc.,blah. His full comments are available on his website - audio which my dial-up burped its way through eventually.
Other than noting that his tutu appears quite worn, I have no comment.

So, I learn today that Bingaman, rather than support censure, chose on 3/13 to sign as a cosponsor of Sen. Byrd's bill to establish this 'commission on surveillance activities and rights of Americans'. This bill went to judiciary committee 3/2/06. Reminds me vaguely of the 9/11 commission for some reason; maybe because I expect the same results. Anyway, I guess Bingaman figures he's off the hook. Maybe he is.
