4. 7% don't understand basic economics
Probably the same people who think the word "huge" is spelled "HUGH!11!1!"

14. That 7% represents franchise owners who are horrified
at the thought of having to pay their counter and fry cook help a living wage, not realizing it will be translated into enough of an increase of business to buy them that new Lexus they've been looking at.

Those are the people who don't understand economics, the people who only see a small dip in their earnings in the very short term until business picks up enough to give them a huge raise.

That rising tide that lifts all boats has to start at the bottom.

13. The Golden Era was when a single breadwinner made enough
Edited on Wed Mar-15-06 06:18 PM by SoCalDem
to support the family..and buy cars and houses and vacations and send kids to college and could afford medical care..etc..

15. Baby did good!!
I have noticed these kind of polls more and more on CNN. It's the piling on poll, where viewers are asked to pile on an issue the show is promoting, like this one.

they should say

DO YOU AGREE WITH LOU DOBBS THAT ...?

It still makes a good point, though. We need to take care of each other here in the good old U S of A.
