On edit: he was just reading emails about Democrats running and hiding everytime the "war on terror" is mentioned!!! A part of me is saying, "awesome" while another part is thinking, "ohhhh shit".

I took it the same way you did and was rather pleased myself. I didn't think Cafferty was ragging on Dems, just trying to light a fire. Sometimes the truth hurts. When they grow 'some' they will have earned the praise. I use to hate Cafferty then suddenly it seemed like someone took away his koolaide.

2. That's just wrong - mediaspin is out of control on this story.

All the Bush mediawhores are spinning against Dems, when Feingold is getting censure into committee and censure is GATHERING support. Kerry, Harkin, and Boxer support and Harkin signed as co-sponsor. More will follow as judiciary committee Dems like Kennedy discuss it in committee with Feingold.

The breathless reporting attacking Dems is pure media spin.

and said it's moving. and he's happy it's in committee, and that now they have more time to work it through.

It was GOPs trying to rush a vote to control the story.

The mediawhores are spinning against the Dems so even the Dems buy into it. Feingold probably shouldn't have said Dems were cowering to FOX.

I don't think Kerry said one word against any judiciary committee Dem who held off leading a filibuster which forced him to take it up.

That's the thing!!! Jack was challenging those who failed to suppport Feingold's pressure to hold this pResident responsible/accountable.

I can't figure if,...his challenge was,...bad.

Instinctively, I FEEL it was GREAT. Politically? :shrug: I like my instincts better on this one because I NEED a vibrant, passionate goshdamned opposition party to these abusive, exploitative assholes.

But instead of the media discussing the merits of the censure (which should be impeachment far as I'm concerned = beaucoup merits) they are dissing the Dems some more! Distract, distract, distract from the real issue as always. I realize that the Dems running with their skirts up as though they just saw a mouse doesn't help a lot.....but the media always got to pile on and forget about the real issue.....
