We don't need a new party.
We need new Senators, that's all.

Our current crowd, less a few people who get it, are operating with what you might call a pre-2000 mindset. They do not understand that the country they're trying to govern bears absolutely no relationship to the country they were originally elected to serve. They don't get it that their personal political survival has to take a back seat to protecting the democracy, they don't get it that appeasement does not work with tyrants, and they don't get it that this is not politics as usual. They just don't have what it takes and it's time to replace them with people who get it.

It's primary season. I would love to hear from people who know of primary candidates who get it and are running against senators who are afraid to censure a president whose approval rating is 33% and who has demonstrably violated the law.

Anyone?

2. Ur right!
They don't get it or maybe they do? Maybe they're just so scared of what Bu$hCo has on them now that they don't dare oppose him? He's been reading their mail and e-mail tapping their phones etc. My guess he has a nice big fat dossier sitting on his desk with enough dirt on most of them to ruin them or someone they love. This is a fascist regime and quite willing to do whatever it takes to stay in power.
