Poll question: Has Harry Reid done a better job than Tom Daschle did? |
|
I've been having a hard time with this one lately, especially after the things we've seen that have gone down in the Senate over the past few months. What do you think?

4. It's time to have a PROGRESSIVE Democrat as Senate leader |
|
Feingold should get the job.
Reid is about the politics of apology. He almost never stands and fights. Reid is the politics that has lost us the last three elections.

7. Feingold could always challenge him when the next congress |
|
convenes--any Senator could, but my guess is that most Democrats in the Senate are happy with Harry Reid and the job he has been doing.

9. Absolutely not. What a dissapointment he has been... My only |
|
real discontent with Daschle was his IWR strategy. Other than that he used to actually stand up to the repukes unlike Reid.

10. I Say Yes, Because It would Be Hard to do Worse |
|
A dead man could have done better than Daschle, by letting some of the populists have some leash, or not licking boots day in and out.
That said, there's still lots of room for further improvement.

11. I voted YES...but I do not think Reid has done the job the correct way for |
|
the times he lives in. I don't like him...but I thought Daschle was WORSE because he COULD have CHANGED THE COURSE OF THE SENATE...when Jeffords Switched Party's.....and could have HELD BACK BUSH FASCISTS!!!
BUT...Daschle caved..."wringing his hands" just like Reid does...always wating for the "boldest" amonnst the Senate to STEP FORWARD.
A LEADER DOESN WAIT...with FINGERS TESTING THE WIND BLOWING! A Leader does LEAD...and, both Daschle and Reid have always waited in "caution" for "Others to Lead."
At least that's what I've seen as a watcher of C-Span for years and year ...since they were firt founded. Just saying here......
