Didn't three other Senators jump on board today? Hasn't it only been a couple of days since Feingold started this deal? Hell, I wouldn't want ANYONE to jump up as a knee-jerk reaction! They all need to do some fact checking and see if they agree. This isn't an office vote on what kind of donuts and bagels the crew wants on Friday.

5. Seems that the nay-sayers were right at least on the results, if not

on the reasons. This will turn out as a catastrophy for the Democrats, but because of people like kos and other that are not ready to wait as long as Feingold is ready to wait.

So we follow what is the favorite meme of the RW media (even if KO is not part of them), that the Democrats are in disarray, rather than emphasising that only two days have passed (as Feingold justly said this afternoon).

But why am I not surprised.

6. People have tunnel vision!

So much is going on right now. The Repubs are telling Bush he needs to bring someone into the administration who can fight their fight... approval ratings are tanking so it's no wonder. There is nothing at all wrong with a slow build on this! Jumping in feet first will only make everyone look stupid, imho. This needs to be calm and calculated, not rushed and jumbled. Talk about a vision of disarray! Sheesh!

until Bob Shrum, Donna Braizle, Joe Biden & all the other losers running this party focus group the idea to death & decide cowering is the way to go.
