They dont seem to like her. This post was interesting in an offbeat sort of way although I guess its a GOP problem.

Let's take a look at that statement (and the reason why, for that stupid comment alone, she is not ready for higher office.) Mrs. Harris said she learned so much from her recently deceased daddy that she is going give away a substantial fortune to teevee people. She said this money would be "set aside" to use "late in the campaign," (is that putting it on the line or a politician speaking?) She said it costs more than $2.5 mil a week in teevee money to be effective. Therefore, she is giving her fortune away in 4-5 weeks time. A lifetime of money earned (really several generations of money earned and saved) and given away on a hope and a prayer. Given away not to a school, not to a foundation or for medical studies but to teevee people. Not invested for her family or to help others but to throw away in 4-5 weeks. I bet her daddy didn't teacher her that that is the true value of money and neither is it the kind of spending mentality needed in a massiveley overspending DC.

Family values...?

2. How can the Freepers object to Harris exercising her 'free speech.'
Freepers and conservatives in general consider spending money on a campaign to be sacred free speech. Why in the world can they have any objection to a conservative Republican spending her OWN money to try to get elected? How can that possibly make sense?

Here's why: The Freepers don't think Harris can win, so they see her whole campaign as a waste of time. They want a stronger candidate to vie against Nelson. They want Harris out of the race. Consequently they resent her doing what she can to stay in it.

How can Freepers oppose Harris spending her own money when before they have always insisted that sort of thing was free speech?

How?

By being hypocrites, that's how.
