Tweety gets his oats, or, I wish I was a TV personality too
Remember last week how MSNBobodyCares made this huge deal about Choosing the Next President by being live at the ReThuglican love fest called the straw poll in Tennessee (actually more like the broom up the butt fest, but I digress).

Well, if you even bothered to watch, or remember seeing the commercials during the ONLY programming worth spit there (Keith Olberman) and didn't know better, you'd think Tweety's show was important.

Guess again.

Here's the numbers from Saturday (I am not making this up, courtesy of http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/?page=2)

25-54 demographic:

Total day: FNC: 165,000 / CNN: 160,000 / MSNBC: 126,000 / HLN: 112,000 CNBC: 28,000

Prime: FNC: 154,000 / CNN: 186,000 / MSNBC: 164,000 / HLN: 81,000 / CNBC: 79,000

8pm: Heartland: 128,000 / CNN Presents (7 to 9): 207,000 / MSNBC Investigates: 190,000

9pm: Iran and the Bomb: 190,000 / King: 139,000 / Hardball: 93,000

10pm: Big Story Primetime: 143,000 / CNN Presents: 211,000 / MSNBC Investigates: 210,000

NINETY THREE THOUSAND belonging to the "Money" demo watched Tweety slobber all over himself. More people 25-54 watched a repeat of Larry King than watched the heavily promoted Goofball at 9PM.

God works in strange ways. Maybe the morons at MSNBodyCares will get the message; programming for retired Conservatives doesn't draw flies (unless you are CSI). They might as well run paid programming for excercisers, at least they'd get paid for the time.

Total viewers:

Total day: FNC: 582,000 / CNN: 405,000 / MSNBC: 254,000 / HLN: 242,000 / CNBC: 59,000

Prime: FNC: 649,000 / CNN: 570,000 / MSNBC: 309,000 / HLN: 191,000 / CNBC: 159,000

8pm: Heartland: 652,000 / CNN Presents (7 to 9): 696,000 / MSNBC Investigates: 355,000

9pm: Iran and the Bomb: 601,000 / King: 543,000 / Hardball: 194,000

10pm: Big Story Primetime: 695,000 / CNN Presents: 410,000 / MSNBC Investigates: 378,000

The rest of Tweety's 101,000 viewers Saturday night WERE from the Dent-u-cream set.
And Larry King repeated STILL drew nearly three times Goofball's viewers.

Tweety, your importance is only to yourself. Eat shit.
