Immigrants to Netherlands must pass 'liberal tolerance' test first:
New immigrants to the country must watch a film:

"The camera focuses on two gay men kissing in a park. Later, a topless woman emerges from the sea and walks onto a crowded beach. For would-be immigrants to the Netherlands, this film is a test of their readiness to participate in the liberal Dutch culture. IF THEY CAN'T STOMACH IT, NO NEED TO APPLY." (emphasis mine).

We could use this in the U.S... but for voter registration.

WARNING- pic may be offensive to some

2. I wonder how hard it is to immigrate there.. That is one place that I
would really like to live.. The way things are going in this country, it's nice to know what ones options are..

4. US citizens (among others) are exempt...
I suppose they realize that a U.S. citizen who wants to emigrate to The Netherlands is already liberal.

I know my wife and I would BOTH pass the test. (She lived in Germany near the border for six years--still prefers Europe to the U.S.).

6. This is probably true.
There are tons of Americans who wouldn't pass, but they also wouldn't want to go there either.
