Shake-Up at the White House? one can only hope...
"Two Republican sources close to the White House have confirmed to ABC News

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=1727191&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312&gma=true

that in recent days there has been talk of making staff additions to the Bush team to bring a steadying influence to the White House. One says the president's advisers are in a self-examination mode after a spate of bad news."

1. Staff Additions
Nobody gets fired, nobody gets demoted without an indictment here. They just keep adding "fresh" criminal "legs" to the "team."

11. Last night they said (ABC) it would be the same advisor that Reagan
used for Image Rehab after the Iran/Contra scandal...So far Bush has said no thanks, according to that report.

15. They just announced a "blue ribbon commission"
to investigate the mess in Iraq. SAME OLD MEN, new day. Hamilton, James Baker, etc.

Same faces, and we'll get the same result. A whitewash.

2. This has been talked about for the last 2 months on talk shows
the Reagan strategy.. ie, when Reagan was tanking in the polls, he shook up his cabinet. Sounded desperate the first time I heard it, still does. Unless they get rid of Karl Rove the crook, it's not gonna work.

4. It must suck to work in the WH right now
with Bush and Cheney going off like raving lunatics all the time. I bet the pressure is unbearable.

7. Who will it be? Probably the usual:
Move Karen Hughes to a more prominent position.
Bring back Mary Matalin.
Make Tx Gov. Rick "Goodhair" Perry Chief of Staff for Bush.
Dig up Ronald Reagan (the great communicator) for the daily press briefings.
