Harris contributing $10 million to her Senate campaign

http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/politics/14108237.htm

What a terribly misleading headline. It gives the appearance that there is another $10 million to personally donate after this $10 million is spent, and another...

Yet it is hardly the case, this is the last of her wealth, in fact, it is her inheritance from her recently deceased father.

By all means...

A University of North Florida poll released hours before her television appearance showed Harris 20 points percentage points behind opponent Bill Nelson, 48 percent to 28 percent. The statewide poll of 591 registered voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percent.

The Stephanie Miller program this morning is having a field day with this topic...

4. That very well could be...
however not only does she trail in the polls, she trails drastically in cash on hand in her Senate campaign. If there were an unending supply of money, I personally believe that it would have been there by now, and that she would not have to rely on inheritance in order to fund an ill Senate campaign.

Her family has seen the writing on the wall, and will fund no part in it.

10. I would say that no matter how much money she spends
she doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning

However she IS a rethug and we know they like to steal elections!

8. If she believes in an afterlife and that her dad is watching over her
I'll bet she thinks he must be really proud and happy that the fortune that took him a lifetime to accumulate will be burned up in a flameout of historic proportions.

12. Now why would she spend $10M of her own money to get elected
Now why would she spend $10M of her own money to get elected to a job that pays, what is it, $200K a year? Unless she figures she can get much more than $10M back.

Plus she is far behind in the polls, does she have the keys to the voting machines so she thinks the votes don't count?
