2. They are voting on an amendment to

commission a study of the raising of the debt right now I think. There is a series of amendments coming up all about the debt and debt ceiling.

3. Thanks....I Finally Realized What Was Going On

So they have to kill a few Democratic amendments before they get to the main task of raising the debt to above $9 TRILLION. I imagine they'll get that done today one way or another.

4. So, why don't they just raise it to...

..."the sky's the limit!" :sarcasm: That way the Senate doesn't have to keep re-visiting this issue every other week just to say 'okay, raise the limit...no problem'.

Does anyone in the Senate ever ask "when/how is this going to stop/get turned around?"
