Rearranging deck chairs on the SS chimpy*
It's old news now, but, shaking up the whitehouse was all the buzz yesterday, talk of bringing in fresh blood to jump start operation fuck America get it back on track to siphon off what's left of any wealth left to ordinary Americans.
I don't think it will work, it's like a failing sitcom where they bring in a cute kid to milk another season out of the viewers. This act is old and stale, the ship has been punctured below the waterline and is sinking.

Polls are showing bad numbers, Americans want out of the quicksand of the middle east, the housing market, while it hasn't burst has been pin pricked in several places.
There are natural disasters waiting in the wings to bite the chimp* on the ass, tornado's, fires, floods, hurricanes, they're all coming and this bunch of incompetents aren't going to respond any better than they did with Katrina.

The reptiles in congress are growing restless, they're stirring more with each poll, getting scared, they know there's a cancer, and what's more it looks to be an inoperable cancer that the only hope of stopping will be to radically cut out the black stinking mass that is the chimp* misadministration.

If, sometimes I think it's a big if, if we get through until summer without this bunch of morans doing anything incredibly stupid, I'm going to breathe much easier. They can rearrange all they want it's not going to work.

4. I love all the "shake up the staff" stories.
I love them because it shows you how truly desperate and in denial the Republicans are at this moment. Sure, all Bush needs is a new staff, and things will be JUST FINE. It's like their brains are just chemically incapable of processing the obvious fact that Bush, himself, is the problem, and that until he is removed nothing is going to get better.

Also, these stories fail to mention that Bush's staff HAS been shaken up considerably since he originally took office. It has been shaken in a bad way, however, and that's because all the competent people saw the writing on the wall and fled. Ari Fleischer was a much better press secretary than McClellan is, but Fleischer was not willing to stick around and go down with the ship. Nobody who can get a job anywhere else is going to want to work for them now.

Shake up at the White House. Sure. When Bush and Cheney resign, call me. Till then, bad goes to worse for you guys. It'd be funny if you weren't taking the rest of us down with you.

C ya,

The Plaid Adder

8. Just then the captain's eyes popped wide open
He jumped up from the wheelhouse floor, looked out at the iceburg screamed i'm going to moive you baby. And he did right on into the iceburg and she went on down. Legend of the USS Titantic, Jaimie Brockett.
We can add the rising cost of fuel to the list, that and the creeping inflation that comes with it.
