No chance in hell, but if they did, or when they do decide to start airing these types of images, it's all over. I was pretty young during the Viet Nam conflict, but I have vivid memories of the nightly news (ABC, CBS, NBC) showing graphic images of American soldiers, blown to bits, burning villages, a young girl running naked down a dirt road, her clothes burned off by napalm. I remember the trial of Calley, the outrage, the voices of the American people demanding an end to the carnage, the riots at colleges campuses across the country, Kent State. Walter Cronkite, "the most trusted man in America" speaking out at the end of his nightly broadcasts, imploring an end to the morass and decrying the insanity of that particular war. Until the MSM starts showing these images and stops sanitizing this war for public consumption, many more innocent lives will be lost. So much blood on so many hands in this country.
