Stadium evacuated and being searched
Watching college basketball, they just broke in and said the stadium in San Diego that is slated to host a few of the ncaa tournament games today has been evacuated and is being searched. They then switched back to the game in progress. Be AFRAID!

1. Man, this is just so desperate. And you know what, I don't care
if they ever do find something. I'll never be sure my own government didn't plant it.

6. it was a hot dog.
Gee, imagine that. A dog getting excited over a hot dog. Whodathunkit?

“A bomb-sniffing dog noticed something in a hot dog cart,” Beresford said. “They got a hit on something that was in the cart itself. "

eating a Lucky Dog from a vendor on Bourbon Street. Outstanding chow but incredibly tough on the stomach. I love em but I will never learn.

11. Just think of all the
pissed off people standing and milling around. Think of the conversations. Could be good? Could be bad but inconvenienced people are rarely happy about the reason why.

12. San Diego arena evacuated before NCAA game
Police evacuated Cox Arena at San Diego State on Thursday, hours before a first-round NCAA championship basketball game, after a bomb-sniffing dog signaled a potential problem at a hot dog stand. Cox Arena at San Diego State University was cleared while police tried to determine if there was an explosive device in the hot dog stand, assistant vice president for marketing and communications Jack Beresford told Reuters.

FBI: No credible terror threat for college basketball tournaments, but vigilance urged
March 10th

The FBI said Friday there is no specific, credible threat of a terror attack aimed at college basketball arenas or other sports stadiums, but acknowledged alerting law enforcement to a recent Internet posting discussing such attacks.
The FBI and Homeland Security Department distributed an intelligence bulletin Friday to state and local law enforcement nationwide describing the online threat against sporting venues, said Special Agent Richard Kolko, an FBI spokesman in Washington. "We have absolutely no credible intelligence or threats pertaining to this issue," Kolko said.

15. They elaborated on the ncaa terror threat
The first time I heard about it was leading up to the tournament. The anouncer stated that on an "islamic message board" someone posted that attacking a sports stadium would be a good idea. This was the entire basis of the threat that the fbi released to the ncaa leading up to the tournament. Its a completely unsubstaniated be afraid tactic. It makes me sick and ashamed everytime one of these fake terror threats come out.

18. what a suprise they opened the stadium now
there was no bomb after all. I'm flabergasted.. I'm just so relieved there was no bomb I'll forget all about the fact that they evacuated a stadium and made it national news over nothing.
